Taylor Swift has been blasted by an environmental agency – for feeding possums (In Australia).
The ‘Fearless’ singer – who is currently on tour in Australia – made a late-night visit to a park in Melbourne with her bandmates on Wednesday night (10.02.10) to feed the wild furry rodents.
She tweeted: “Tonight the band and I played a show, then hopped in the van and headed to the park for some midnight wild possum feeding.”
However, the 20-year-old songstress has been criticized by Australian wildlife authorities, who believe her petting session could cause “disruption” to the animals.
A spokesperson for Australia’s Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) told Radar Online: “We know people who feed wild animals often have the best intentions and that it is attractive to tourists who want to interact with Australian wildlife.
“However, DSE advises people not to feed wild animals… it can disrupt their natural behavior and it can cause some animals to lose their natural fear of people, making them vulnerable to attack.”

Joe Jonas may be breaking away from the Jonas Brothers for a little while to make his own music. Joe told E! Online: “I’m writing songs right now. I’m writing a lot of music.” When asked if he will follow in Nick’s brotherless footsteps,
Joe declined to say yes or no: “It’s going really well. I’ve written about five songs with some of my friends in different bands and things like that. With Grammy Week coming up, all my friends and all these musicians are flying in. I love writing with musicians.”
He’s reading scripts for his blossoming film career: “I’m looking forward to doing more acting. I know everybody says this, but I want to be able to do everything. I won’t be satisfied until I’m ready to do every kind of role from a villain to a comedian.” What is Kevin going to do now that his brothers seem to be moving on?
“From Kacie: I just left Nick Jonas’ hotel in Detroit, Michigan. There were about 15 fans and about 10 Ebay sellers. The band came out the front door and waved to everyone. About 20 minutes after that a few ebay sellers came to the front with signatures from Nick and Selena Gomez who snuck out the back of the hotel.
So instead of meeting the fans that were waiting patiently in the cold, they snuck out. We heard that someone was trying to take a picture of Selena on her phone and Nick’s bodyguard, Mike told her ‘I wouldn’t do that if I were you.’ Seems to me like they are trying to hide something.”

According to www.exposay.com Avril Lavigne has pushed back her album release because she can’t work with her former husband.
Avril who filed for divorce from Sum-41 rocker Deryck Whibley in October last year is reportedly struggling to finish her new album ‘Pink Crust’, because he is producing the record and their split is causing tensions in the studio.
A source told the Toronto Sun newspaper: “The uglier it gets in court, the uglier it gets in the studio. The first eight songs, Avril and Deryck worked with a lot of love and it came easy. But there’s three or four more to do and they just aren’t feeling it. It’ll be a terrific album if they can put this aside for a month or so and concentrate on what matters – the music.”
The pair are now reportedly planning a tentative production schedule in order to get the album back on track in so it can be released within the coming months.

Nick Jonas is just weeks away from seeing his new solo album hit stores and is a bit nervous about it.
Nick dished to MTV News: “I’m feeling it … I’m feeling the vamp-up. It’s exciting. It’s just hard to believe it’s all happening. I’m thankful to everyone who made it possible … not so much nervous. I think once we get closer I might be anxious to see what the response is, but so far it’s been good and that’s encouraging.”
Nick also revealed that his new song “Stay” may be on a bonus edition of the album. He shared: “It might be on a bonus edition. I wrote it a little late to add it to the record now, but you never know what could happen
